Product Description

Each copy has been fancifully autographed by the author, Rankin/Bass historian Rick Goldschmidt.

Ever wanted to know more about how Rudolph and other Rankin/Bass animated specials were made? This book has the answers!

The 2011 Edition features 216 pages (8 in colour).  This 8-1/2" x 11" hardcover book in ambassador black binding sports a full-colour front cover.

The book, originally issued in 2001, has been long out of print until this year.  It tells the complete process of making a RANKIN/BASS Animagic TV special, featuring their longest-running, highest-rated TV special of all-time, RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER.

It includes a foreword by Producer ARTHUR RANKIN, JR. and an AFTERWORD by ANDREW STANTON (PIXAR). It also features commentary by the late, great JOE RANFT (PIXAR). If you are interested in the process, this is the book for you. It also features an early draft of ROMEO MULLER's script, behind-the-scenes photos, a chapter on the legendary Canadian voice actors lead by BERNARD (BUNNY) COWAN and much more!
