Remember that thing Cousin Eddie breaks while drinking eggnog out of his moose mug? What was that thing?!
It was a traditional German Christmas Pyramid! They’ve been popular (and beautiful) Christmas decorations for centuries, and Clark Griswold had four (yes, four!) in his home.
Our Cousin Eddie Pyramid (some call it a carousel or a windmill) is not an exact reproduction of the one Eddie breaks in the movie, but it has many of the same features, including removable fan blades, rotating nativity scene and an impressive height (20.5”).
Note: We sell the special boxes of candles separately. Candles may need to be trimmed for some pyramids depending on space between the flame and blade. Always use caution when lighting candles.
Here’s how they work:
First you light the candles at the base of the pyramid. Once the burning candles heat up, the hot air they create will set the fan blades and the figures spinning in motion. The flames also add warmth and sparkle to any room while the fan adds a fun, kinetic energy to brighten your family celebrations.
